COVID-19 INFORMATION

COVID-19 has brought on a lot of changes about the way we all do things in our everyday lives. To ensure your health and safety, and that of all my clients and my family, I will be introducing the following protocols during all appointments as outlined by the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario (CMTO).  The CMTO is the regulatory body governing massage therapists in Ontario.

 

What you can expect at your next appointment:

 

  • On the day of your appointment you will be required to answer a few short COVID-19 screening questions.

  • Please arrive on time. If you happen to arrive early, kindly wait until your appointment time before you enter. 

  • Knock and I will let you in through the double doors that go directly into the treatment room (i.e. double doors on the porch located to the right of the front door).

  • Please attend your appointment alone. If the appointment is for a child or anyone requiring assistance, a parent/guardian/caregiver can stay in the treatment room for the duration of the appointment.

  • Once you enter, please use the hand sanitizer to disinfect your hands.

  • Facemasks are no longer required to be worn for the duration of the treatment, however I do encourage you to wear one. If you do not have one, I can provide one for you. We can adjust your treatment position to ensure your breathing comfort at all times. Note, that you may be required to wear a mask during your treatment should the current health guidelines change. Exceptions will always be made for children under the age of 2 and those with health conditions and unable to wear masks. 

  • For your safety, I will be wearing an n95 mask during your entire visit. I will wash my hands before and after your treatment and I will be wearing gloves.

  • All surfaces will be carefully cleaned and disinfected before your treatment. All linens are thoroughly washed in hot water after each client.

  • If possible, I would kindly ask that you please use the washroom prior to your appointment. My washroom will be available for you if needed, but I would like to limit use where possible.

  • E-transfers are preferred, but I will continue to accept cash and cheques.

  • I will now email you a scanned copy of your signed receipt. If you need an original printed receipt for any reason, ask me and I will provide one at no cost.
